BlueridgeCondos.com is run by CodeMunch Labs. Owners of vacation rentals in the Blue Ridge list their rentals here so guests can book them directly. This page explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Your name, email address and phone number, and your stay dates and number of guests.
• The name of each person staying, and whether each is an adult or a child. Some buildings are gated and require this.
• Payment details. Card payments are handled by Stripe; your card number goes straight to Stripe and is never seen or stored by this site. We keep a record of what was charged and refunded.
• Messages you send us, any review you choose to leave, and your choices about how we may contact you.
• If you create an account, a password, which is stored in protected form by our sign-in provider and cannot be read by us.

How we use it

• To take and manage your booking, charge and refund payments, and place and release the security hold.
• To send you booking confirmations, arrival instructions and other messages about your stay.
• Where the building has a front desk or security, to register your party with it before you arrive.
• Where the rental has a smart lock, to set your door code for the dates of your stay. The code is normally the last four digits of your phone number.
• To keep the tax and accounting records the law requires.

We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

Text messages

We text you about your stay only if you tick the box agreeing to it when you book. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop texts, or HELP for help. Phone numbers and text message consent are never shared with or sold to anyone for marketing.

Who we share it with

• The owner of the rental you book, and their cleaner: what they need to host your stay.
• The building's front desk and security, where it has them: guest names and stay dates only.
• Companies that run parts of this site for us: Stripe (payments), Google Firebase (secure storage and sign-in), Twilio (text messages) and our email provider. They may use your information only to provide that service.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

Published reviews show only your first name and the first letter of your last name.

Cookies

This site sets a cookie only to keep you signed in. It does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Stripe may set its own cookies on the payment page to prevent fraud.

How long we keep it

Booking and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. You can ask us to delete your account or correct your details at any time; we will remove what we are not required to keep.
