Hiking and waterfalls in Great Smoky Mountains
Great Smoky Mountains National Park straddles the Tennessee and North Carolina line and is the most visited national park in the country. The Tennessee side has busy tourist towns and theme parks, the North Carolina side has quieter mountain towns and river rafting. From short walks to roadside falls to long climbs onto rock summits, there is a trail for nearly every ability. Check conditions before you go, since trails and parking can change.
